Auntie Ev, Auntie Ev

I had to go to court last Friday so my mom and Evelyn came in to watch Lyla. They took her for a walk while my mom showed Evelyn all the sites of lower Manhattan, with a mandatory stop at Century 21. Luckily, my court appearance only lasted about 10 minutes, so I had most of the day to spend with them. We met Aunt Phyllis and Eileen for lunch and went to the Seaport. Lyla told me she could get used to being a "lady who lunches." Me too, Lyla Bell, me too. Later in the afternoon, we hung out at the apartment relaxing and catching up on Project Runway episodes. My mom and Ev thought it was nice how Dahlia left me a note every day about what Lyla was up too. Ev wanted to write her own note: Grandma Linda and Aunt Evelyn took Lyla for a 1 1/2 hour walk. Grandma bought shoes and Aunt Ev's feet hurt. Aunt Phyllis stopped by. Going to lunch. Aunt Ev is exhausted.
