Christopher's Christening

On Sunday we celebrated Christopher's christening. It was an absolutely beautiful day for Christopher and he was such a good boy at church. He took it all in stride, slept a little and smiled a little. Getting some shut eye before the big event. Waving for Nana. Then trying to eat the pew. Look at those lips. So kissable. And of course I can't post without a picture of Lyla trying to make out with Nicolas. The main event. My dad, Mark and Lyla. Due to the unseasonably warm weather, we had a last minute outfit change. I was happy she got to wear this dress my mom got her. It was in the too-bad-she never-got-to-wear-this-before-the-summer-ended box (which has a few too many things in it...). The Forgiones The Murphys Mark and Shushi Uncle Jack and Dina Aunt Sandy and Lyla My mom and Dina Me and my sis After the church, we all went to Blue Moon to celebrate. Lyla had such a good time with all her cousins. She loved when Dennis "burped" her, when Dylan made funny faces at her, and when Avery and Sidney fed her dinner. She was such a trooper too. She was all smiles all day and didn't mind being passed around like a hot potato. We watched her talking to people, doing clap hands, and giving lots of kisses. Mark and I counted and determined that she was passed around to 16 different people throughout the course of the day. The kids had a great time playing in the courtyard at Blue Moon. The dads and granddads watched the kids. D and D hanging with their dad while he is trying to fact check a story for Monday's NY Times. Cute Dylan. She can always make Lyla laugh. Sweet, sweet, sweet Avery and Sidney. Lyla was absolutely in love with her big girl cousins. And they are little dolls. We have to visit them more often. The little girls all hit it off. The big boys hanging out. Jason, Rich, and Rich's brother Mark. Mark came up from Miami for the party. Cortney felt bad she thought Mark was Rich, but can you blame her? We love you Chrissy!
