The whole Murphy clan made the trip to New York to celebrate Lyla's birthday. We were so honored and so thrilled that everyone made the trip to see our little girl. We spent Saturday day hanging out, eating NY bagels, watching Olympic curling (don't ask...) and drinking bloody marys.
Lyla got a head start on opening birthday presents and loves her laugh and learn puppy.
She was also totally loving Ari.

Saturday night we all went to Harry's for dinner. Lyla was totally exhausted, but was a good sport -- as long as she was being held. But she made the rounds and we managed to squeeze in dessert before having to head home to put her to bed.
My shrimp appetizer came out uncooked with a little grill for me to cook them on. I tried to explain to the waiter that I don't cook and that was precisely the reason why I was out to dinner...
